Signup forms collect subscribers straight into a list. MailingPlatform has four form types, a form builder, and per-form statistics so you can see what converts.
Form types
- Embedded: rendered inline where you place it (footer, sidebar, article)
- Popup: opens in an overlay, typically after a delay or on intent
- Slide-in: slides in from a corner, less intrusive than a popup
- Full page: a hosted standalone page, useful for link-in-bio and QR codes
Create a form
- Go to Forms and create a new form
- Choose the type and the list new subscribers join
- Design the form: fields (email is required; add name, phone or custom fields as needed), texts and colors
- Configure behavior: for popups and slide-ins, when to show
- Activate the form and install it on your site
Each form has a status: draft, active or paused. Paused forms stop accepting displays without deleting anything.
Install on your site
Forms are installed with a small embed snippet from the form's settings. Paste it where the form should appear (embedded) or anywhere on the page (popup and slide-in). Full page forms have their own URL to link to.
Double opt-in
Forms respect your double opt-in configuration: enabled per form or account-wide under Settings, GDPR. With it on, new signups are pending until they click the confirmation link.
Statistics
The forms overview shows totals: forms, submissions and average conversion rate, plus per-form numbers. If a form converts poorly, try fewer fields (email only converts best), a clearer incentive, or a different type - a slide-in with a first-order discount is a strong default for stores.
After signup
New subscribers can flow straight into a welcome series: create an automation with the new subscriber trigger on the form's list. See creating an automation.
